This Sunday April 21st, 10 am - 3pm, the streets of LA become carless, and open to the public to walk, skate, ride a bike, jog, play whatever takes your fancy! "To the Sea" is the event for this Sunday.
With activities on route, it's a great way to take a break from the stress of car traffic and see your city in a whole new 'pedestrian' light.
Please take a look at www.ciclavia.org for all the details and faqs.
Stumble across a dining table on wheels roaming around Venice this week? That was Daniel Busby's kinetic sculpture "A Moveable Feast"! The table was ridden around Venice on Wednesday and Thanksgiving Thursday.
The street legal moving dinner table debuted at the 2012 Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena, where it received the coveted Czar’s Trophy. Since then the sculpture has been taken to events such as Mindshare 50, Lightning in a Bottle 2012, Priceless 2012, Burning Man and CicLAvia.
